It was a tough delivery as Michigan has this really odd way of looking at pain medication. They believe that as long as you get some in your system, it doesn’t matter WHEN you got it. So, Heidi received 2 hours of epidural help about 4 hours before delivery, so the pokey nurse who I truly believe is Nurse Ratchet and Frau Brugga’s secret love child, made sure that Heidi didn’t get any more pain help. It was a very pain-intensive endurance for 90 minutes, but she’s hearty and so is little Isaiah!
